Volunteer Programs

Purpose

The purpose of Ecuador Volunteer Foundation (EVF) is to improve the quality of life of people with physical disabilities and mental impairment through the support of our volunteering team, which provide assistance to coordinators, teachers and physiotherapists in their physical, emotional and educational development programs.

Change

Many of these children and young people come from families with low incomes who do not have enough money to cover the costs of treatments, therapies and special education. Sometimes parents will even give up their child to the disabled children´s center. Therefore, the commitment and generosity of our volunteers is the key to change the situation of these children.

Action

Every day our volunteers will work with children and young people between the ages of 2-25 that are suffering from cerebral palsy, hearing problems, mental impairment and require a lot of love and understanding. As a volunteer, you can feel and live the reality of these people by creating bonds of friendship and affection; moreover, these actions can be the best way to provide them happiness. Today we invite you to touch your heart and give your time to the care and rehabilitation of these children and young people who need your help. We are sure you will take home the best of gifts, hugs, and smiles that express how grateful we are with you.

All of this happens in n environment of multiculturalism, respect, and tolerance, where volunteers and family appreciate and value the cultural differences that each other has, as part of a mutual enrichment. It will be an exciting life experience, which will help you to grow as a person.
