Program Phases

Leadership Journey

Our TEEN CAMPS are designed in two complementary phases, each with a unique focus on environmental impact and leadership development.

Phase 1

TEEN CAMP Galápagos

In this phase, we work on the restoration of the terrestrial habitat of the Galapagos Islands through conservation practices. Participants learn about the protection of endemic species and ecological balance, while developing four key leadership skills.

Phase 2

TEEN CAMP Amazon

The impact continues in the Amazon, where we fight illegal wildlife trafficking and contribute to the preservation of endangered species. Here, young people put eight leadership skills into action and structure a path of purpose for their personal and professional growth.

FAQ

Why are TEEN CAMPS divided into two phases?

Our TEEN CAMPS are carefully structured in two phases with the aim of providing a progressive formative experience in leadership and personal development.

  • Phase 1 introduces teens to four core values of leadership through dynamic activities, teamwork, and personal reflection.
  • Phase 2 increases the level of demand, challenging participants with more complex scenarios, where they are strengthened to reach a total of eight values. This phase prepares young people to face changing environments with critical thinking, initiative, and a forward-looking vision.
We recommend completing both phases to maximize the educational and personal impact of the program.

Each phase lasts 6 days, designed to balance hands-on activities, reflection time, and recreational spaces. For educational institutions, we can tailor the length and content of the program based on specific curricular objectives.

FAQ Requirements and Registration Process

The program is intended for youth between 14 and 17 years old. The minimum group size to open an exclusive camp is 12 students. This number ensures an effective and safe group learning experience.

Registration can be done through our official website, by filling out the corresponding form, or by scheduling a virtual interview with our coordinators. For educational institutions, we offer personalized meetings and informative material to guide directors, teachers and families in the process.

Yes. Registration closes on April 7 for Phase 1 and May 7 for Phase 2. Spaces are limited and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, upon payment of a non-refundable deposit of $250 USD to reserve the spot.

Yes. We have flexible payment plans adapted to different family realities. The initial payment secures the quota, and the remaining amounts can be distributed in installments prior to the start of the program.

A specialized coordinator will contact the family to support them through the entire preparation process: from purchasing tickets and medical insurance to handling vaccines, luggage, and documentation. Our personalized approach ensures each participant is well-prepared and confident before starting the program.

FAQ Travel & Logistics

  • We handle pre-established dates  that allow students from different schools and nationalities to be integrated. However, if an established school or group of 12 or more students would like to participate, we can offer an exclusive date for that community, with content and logistical customization options.

Once registration is confirmed, we send a complete suggested packing list adapted to the weather conditions, destination, and program activities. This list includes clothing, personal items, and relevant documentation.

Yes. All participants must have international travel insurance that covers eventualities such as accidents, illnesses, loss of belongings, repatriation, assistance in rural areas, and emergency air transport. This requirement is essential to protect the student and ensure a timely response to any unforeseen event.

Our TEEN CAMPS welcome students from diverse countries and cultures, fostering a nurturing environment for international exchange. This coexistence promotes empathy, cultural openness and essential communication skills in a globalized world.

It is not mandatory to have an excellent level of Spanish, although an intermediate level is necessary to interact with other international students from Latin America. Activities are mainly conducted in Spanish, but our mentors are trained to facilitate communication in English or Spanish if necessary.

FAQ Safety and Supervision

Safety is the fundamental pillar of our programs. We have a team of trained professionals, emergency protocols, close medical assistance, verified accommodations, and safe transportation. In addition, we maintain constant communication with parents or legal guardians throughout the experience.

Participants are accompanied 24/7 by certified CPR and First Aid mentors, carefully selected for their expertise in youth leadership, safety, and emotional support.

Yes. We have a female coordinator specifically in charge of the monitoring, accompaniment and well-being of the students.

In our TEEN CAMPS we apply a zero-tolerance policy against the consumption of alcohol, tobacco, vapes and any other prohibited substance. The use, possession or distribution of these substances by participants constitutes a serious violation of the code of conduct, and will be grounds for immediate and irreversible expulsion from the program, without the right to reimbursement.

This measure not only responds to compliance with legal and ethical regulations, but also has as its main objective to protect the physical, emotional and psychological integrity of the group. Acting firmly in these cases guarantees a healthy, safe environment that is consistent with the values we promote. By enrolling, both the student and their family must accept these conditions as part of the commitment to a training experience of excellence.

The accommodations are located in private and secure areas, without access to the external public, within the project premises. Students and mentors share facilities, but dorms are strictly separated by gender.

We have clinics and hospitals nearby, and a detailed emergency plan. If a student has persistent symptoms, injuries or health conditions that require attention, the team is responsible for transferring them and managing their treatment, always keeping the family informed. In the event of an emergency, parents will be notified immediately after the student is stabilized.

The student must carry the necessary medication for the entire program, along with a copy of the medical prescription and the contact details of the treating professional. This information must be indicated on the pre-trip application form. Our team reviews this data in advance to anticipate any special situations.

Yes. Participants will have unlimited drinking water so that they can stay hydrated throughout their stay in the program.

We do not have laundry services. We recommend packing enough and suitable clothing for the 6 days of the camp.

FAQ Food

The menus are designed based on the local gastronomy of the destination, prioritizing simple, balanced and nutritious options that guarantee the energy necessary for daily activities. These include foods rich in protein, complex carbohydrates, fresh vegetables and fruits.
We cater for special dietary requirements, such as vegetarian diets or medical restrictions, as long as they are informed in advance on the application form. Although the gastronomic proposal is basic, it is carefully planned to meet the nutritional requirements of adolescents. It is important to consider adapting to the culinary culture in the environment in which the camp takes place.

We strive to accommodate individual needs, but due to remote locations, some restrictions may have logistical limitations. We recommend informing us in advance.

FAQ Communication with Parents or Guardians

Once the group has arrived at the destination, our team will contact families via our 24/7 direct line to confirm their arrival.

During the program, we share regular updates the group’s status, including photos, general news, and anecdotes documenting the development of the activities.

The use of cell phones is restricted during the camp to encourage total immersion in the experience. In case of emergency, parents can contact our coordinators directly.

Yes. Our team monitors the health of the participants daily. If a student has mild symptoms that persist for more than 24 hours or is unable to participate in activities, parents will be informed. In cases of medical emergency, the family will be notified as soon as the student is stabilized.

FAQ Educational Institutions

Yes. We work directly with educational institutions interested in incorporating our TEEN CAMPS as part of their training proposal. We design customized programs that reinforce soft skills, leadership, social responsibility, and teamwork. We offer exclusive dates and curricular adaptation if necessary.

Of course. We encourage institutions to designate a teacher, counselor, or other staff member to accompany the group. This allows for a more integrated experience, as well as making it easier to link the programme to the school’s educational objectives.

Yes. All students receive an official participation certificate form our organization. In the case of schools with IB (International Baccalaureate) programs, we issue duly  justified CAS (Creativity, Activity and Service)  time certificates, as long as the project criteria are met.

The official certificate of participation and CAS Hours completion is delivered at the end of the program, validating the student’s impact and commitment during camp.
