Welcome to the Ecuador Volunteer Foundation (EVF). These Terms & Conditions govern your participation in any of our volunteer programs. By applying and joining our programs, you agree to the following:
Participants must be at least 18 years old. Minors may join certain programs with parental consent and EVF approval. All volunteers must provide accurate personal and medical information.
All applicants must complete the official registration form.
A non-refundable registration fee is required to confirm participation.
Full program fees must be paid before the volunteer start date.
All payments must be made through approved EVF channels.
Registration fees are non-refundable.
Program fees may be partially refundable in cases of cancellation made at least 30 days before the start date.
No refunds will be granted for cancellations made less than 30 days before the start date, or for early departures from the program.
EVF reserves the right to modify program details, dates, locations, or activities due to local conditions, safety concerns, or operational needs. We strive to provide similar alternatives when changes occur.
All volunteers are expected to:
Act respectfully toward local communities, staff, and other volunteers.
Follow local laws and customs.
Avoid behavior that could negatively impact the project or EVF’s reputation.
EVF has the right to dismiss volunteers without refund in cases of misconduct, illegal behavior, or violation of these terms.
Volunteers must disclose any medical conditions or allergies before arrival.
Volunteers are responsible for obtaining appropriate travel and health insurance that covers medical emergencies and travel-related incidents.
Volunteers participate at their own risk. EVF is not liable for injuries, losses, or damages sustained during travel, participation in programs, or time spent in host communities.
By participating, you consent to EVF using photos, videos, and testimonials taken during your stay for promotional and educational purposes unless you explicitly request otherwise in writing.
Volunteers are responsible for securing valid visas and travel documents. EVF can provide guidance but is not liable for visa denials or related issues.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Ecuador. Any disputes will be resolved under Ecuadorian jurisdiction.
