More than 3 million people face difficulties in accessing basic foodstuffs every day, especially in rural and marginal urban areas.

In Child Development Centers (CDCs) located in marginalized areas of Quito and Indigenous communities in Ecuador, hundreds of children aged 1 to 3 start their education without the basics: books, crayons, paper, and teaching materials. Without these essential tools, their learning and comprehensive development are limited from the start, increasing inequality and reducing their chances for a better future.
Over 40% of children in Ecuador live in poverty, severely limiting their access to education and early childhood development.
The lack of early stimulation negatively affects the cognitive, emotional, and social development of children, impacting their future academic and life performance.

Many arrive at rescue centers with severe physical and emotional wounds, deprived of their freedom and in critical condition. Their recovery depends not only on medical attention but also on proper nutrition and an environment that restores their well-being and natural behavior.
Feeding them properly is just the first step. To return to the wild, they need a suitable environment for physical, psychological, and emotional rehabilitation. Large spaces, environmental enrichment, and specialized care help rebuild their confidence and natural behaviors.
